Purpose

CanMedSend supports full time healthcare professionals to get to the mission field by assuming a burden of their student loan payments.

How it works

  • We believe in supporting the work of healthcare professionals in underserved areas of the world.

  • We help to empower healthcare professionals to provide much-needed healthcare and fulfill their call to spread Christ’s love globally.

    We recently expanded our support to include qualified national healthcare providers in underserved countries of the world.

  • Early on, our founders, Sherif Hanna and Wayne Elford, saw the need for global healthcare workers willing to share Christ’s love in underserved global settings. Identifying that student loan debt reduced their ability to go, CanMedSend was established, following the concept set out by MedSend in the USA.

    Since then, we have supported dozens of individuals through loan repayment programs to free them up to fulfill their calling.
